A
versatile and competent pianist, Erik is capable of captivating
the attention of his audience with technically demanding pieces
as well as touching their heartstrings with the more intimate
ones.
As the
piano accompanist for the ASEAN Violin Competition 2009, Erik
has indeed taken his first step in leaving his footprint on the
international arena of performing arts.
As a
teacher, Erik has taught students of different ages, abilities
and diverse ethnic backgrounds. The experience of helping autistic
children in Australia to improve brain function through music
education further honed his communication skill as a teacher.
Those formative years elevated his teaching skills to new heights.
Erik
is an extremely patient teacher whose genuine love for sharing
his knowledge in music is evident in each of his lesson. Students
often find his enthusiasm in playing the piano and performing
infectious, regardless of age and level. |
