Wong Chen Chen holds a Diploma in Music from Sedaya College. She has studied music theory and piano with Miss Soon Liok Kee and world renowned concert pianist, Mr. Ong Lip Tat.

Chen Chen is more commonly known as Mrs Yap to her students. She has been teaching in the Fisherman Music School since the year 2006.

Many of her students scored distinctions and merits in the practical and theory examinations conducted by the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music, London due to her wisdom, far-sightedness and patience in teaching.
